Update on Jace and Patann!

Patann is 4 months now and a chuncky monkey. she has been eatting an 8 oz bottle every 4 hours since three months. i have started her on food too. but i think it makes her poops a bit hard. ill have to watch that. she is trying so hard to get her feet and roller over completely. she has rolled from her stomach to her back a few times. she can lay on her stomach and move herself around in a circle. lol. she talks just like her mother. alot and very loud. hehehe she loves her gym and her walker. i have a feeling she may skip crawling and go right to walking, she can move herself backwards in the walker. plays with toys and her hands. she just loves to watch her big brother. thats about it.

wow. where to start jace is getting so big. with in the last three weeks he has started saying everything. and i mean everything. so dont say bad words, otherwise he will too..lol he is i would say 97% potty trained. fyi pull ups are the devil. i started him out in pull ups like 4 months ago. he would go to the potty on the potty now and again. so with in the last month i decided no more pull ups and took him to get big boy underware. so we started doing that and he was doing really great but still had lots of accidents but i was putting him to sleep in a pull up. after several nights of him waking up bone dry, i decided no more pull up to bed, and with in the last week he has been officailly pull up free and with in the last three days not one accident. mommy is so proud of her little man. hes getting so big. he is def in his independt stage. he wants to do everything on his own. he is dressing him self a little bit too, mommy still needs to help with that he still a bit wobbly...hehehehe he get so excited when he gets to play with other little kids. he always trying to get kids to play with him. dont think hes gonna have any problems making friends. hehehe. he know his abc and 123. still gets them out of order but he is doing great at it. he knows animals and birds and dinos, lions, tigers, lepords. so many thing hard to list them all. well thats about it with jace. we love him so much and are so proud of him..

Patann's Room

Patann's Room is finally done!

I am officially done with monkey fuzz's room. Some of you already knew this but after Mike and I got married i found a baby bedding set that I just fell in love with and no matter what I had to have it. So not taking any chances I bought it and the matching decor, even though I didnt have any children at the time and not even a little girl. Well finally 3 1/2 years later we had a little girl. So I finally got to use the bedding..YaY!!!

Mike and I Painted the room two different shades of yellow (opal cream and minila tint). The top half of room is the opal cream and the bottom half is striped with the two colors. Mike hung the chair rail to divide the top and bottom. It turned out so pretty. Then i painted the letters for her name and mike hung them up. I had mike drawl dragonflies on the wall around her name and i painted them. I drew butterflies on another wall and painted them also. Her crib and bedding, dresser and everything is up and finished. I think her room turned out great. I just LOVE it.....And we did all the work ourselves..

Patann Ruby

Patann is cooing more and more each day. She eats 4 oz just about every two hours, shes a piggy. She stills sleeps quite a bit but is starting to stay awake longer. We usually only get up with her around 3 am and then again around 6 am. She can burp and fart like a grown man though. Sometimes i am surprised when i hear it. lol She is almost 2 months old. Wow how the time has flown by. Her hair that fell out on the top is already growing back. Her hair color is like a chocolate brown with red in it. It is really pretty. Her eyes are still blue, which mommy hopes they stay that way. Mommys little monkey fuzz is getting sooooooo big..

Jace Update!!!!

Jace is doing and saying so many new things. To many words to list them all, but a few are; neezed(sneezed),turtle,dessert,more,peepee,poo poo,sissy,car seat. He is finally getting into the climbing stage. He wants to do everything himself. He loves the water. When we sit down to dinner and say our prayers he gives us his pointer fingers to hold and bows his head. Its way cute. We are out of regular diapers and into pull ups as we are potty training. He loves to help mommy with the dishes and laundry and eben vacuuming. He also loves to help mommy with sissy. He loves his sissy. He wants to give her kisses all the time. He also has a thing with his shoes always wants them on. He knows the number two, recognizes colors and can match them together and shapes as well. Wow, thats all i can think of right now, so many new things its hard to think of them all.

Accident Prown

Once Jace gets hurt once he continues to get hurt severl more times in a day. My poor baby decided to jump off mommy and daddys bed on wednesday and hurt his foot. he hobbled on it for a few days. i think he my have twisted it or sprained it. Then on saturdday when i was cleaning the bathroom i heard this loud crash go running down the hallway and see patanns dresser had fell over on the floor clothes drawers and everything else all over the floor, cant see Jace from where i was so as i get closer i see his head sticking out the top. He tried climbing up it or something and pulled it over ontop of himself. I was freaking out thinking the worst, but he was prefectly fine. thank god. then later that day at papa's and ma's house he triped on the cool deck and scraped his knees and then not even five minutes later tripped again and scraped his forehead and nose(above pic). My poor son always getting hurt....

Potty Training!!!

I started potty training Jace about a month ago but wasnt pushing it to hard, but now i have been staying on top of it and he is doing really good. He still isnt potty trained yet but we are working on it. We have started a sticker system with him which he just loves. We bought him his own personal potty cuz he didnt like going on the big potty on the insert we had for him. He was using his potty for several weeks and with in the last few days he wants to be on the big potty. So i moved his insert to the big potty and he goes on there now. Mommy cant wait to be pull up free. Hopefully soon, keep your fingers crossed.

GUYS NIGHT OUT!!!!

Mike, Jace,Michael,Jakes and Cades all went to Monster trucks. They had a blast. Jace loved every minute of it as well as Jakes and Cades. Mike and Michael got each one of the boys a monster truck suvinoir. Jace got a grave digger as well as Cades and I am not quite sure which one Jakes got. Jace has been playing with his monster truck all week, him and daddy have been having a blast as well as mommy too. Thank you so much for inviting us to Monster Trucks Michael, Jakes and Cades....

We took Jace to Makutus Island (giant indoor play ground) so that he could have some special time that was all about him since we have been stuck in the house cuz of the heat and him not having all the attention anymore now that he has a little sister to share it with. We thought this would be a great thing its inside out of the heat and he loves to play on the play ground so why not, well he wasnt that interested in the play ground but they did have a mini arcade which has ski ball which he wanted to play so that is where we spent most of the time we were there. We all had fun though, Jace loved throwing the balls thrying to get them in the holes. He even played a whack a mole game. We all had a very fun day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Patann's First Bath

I gave Patann her first bath and it went really well. My little monkey fuzz is changing so much and getting so big.. Mommy loves you little chimp. (i think she looks like a chimp and she has dark fuzzy hair on her body thats why she has those nicknames)

Our newest addittion to the McManigal Family!!!!

Patann Ruby (named after her grandma patty) is so perfect. She is so beautiful. Big brother Jace loves his little sissy. Hes always wanting to hold her, kiss her, share his toys with her, he still needs to learn to be gental with her though, but he will. My very generous SIL came and stayed the first two nights in the hospital with me so my husband could be home in the evenings with my son Jace so we could keep him on some what of a routine still. By the time i got home from the hospital my little man was very angry with me for leaving him for four days. but he is all better now. Patann Ruby is 9 days old today. My little family is now complete!!!!!

We celebrated Jace 2nd Birthday on Saturday the 6th. He had tons of fun even though he had double pink eye which we did not know that was what it was... Thank you to all who came and for the presents as well, Jace loves them all. Jace is getting so BIG mommy doesnt want him getting any bigger. He is such a smartie pants and doing new things all the time. He is our special little guy. Mommy and Daddy love him so much.. Thank you for sharing in Jace special day....

8 Months Along!!!!

Its a whale!!!! No its just me. I am 8 months along here only a few more weeks to go from when this pic was taken. As of Tuesday the 9th i have gained a total of 16.5 pounds and have lost a half pound in a week. Everything with Patann is healthy as can be, I did have to have a stress test a week ago cuz i felt her movement had slowed to much but everything is aok.. Patann Ruby is supposed to make her appearance in this world on June 16th, 2009 at 7:30 A.M. We cant wait.....Mommy hopes she has one child that looks like her. hehehehe

My Mother's Day Present!!!!!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! I woke up to a wonderful present made by my hubby,jace and patann. It is so pretty they did a wonderful job. Then I got up had breakfast sat around and was lazy for awhile. We stopped by Mikes grandmas for a bit and then took jace to the park to play in the water pad. After that we went to dinner and wow did I eat alot. Lets see I started with a ceaser side salad (mike didnt want his) then I had two pc of pizza bread, then fried zucchini, then just over a 1/2 lb of mussels and then finally to top it off I had the most amazing pc of tiramisu for dessert, I have never had it before and oh my gosh was it amazing. Then we came home and watched a movie and was just lazy the rest of the night. I had a wonderful Mother's Day......
